Side chapels are often frequented throughout the day in churches of large urban centers -those you can into on the off hours. Churches located in older cities tend, of course, to be older buildings.
Aging environment, candles, flowers, some disorder, natural light, a devotional image with which we can identify; I’m flaky enough to appreciate that mood matters.
